With an approximate area of four hectares, this garden invites outdoor enjoyment. Resulting from a project to transform an old property, it was designed to provide moments of leisure and well-being. It is a suitable place for quiet walks, outdoor exercise, or relaxed breaks, such as picnics.

The Scientific Essence

Beyond its role as a leisure area, the Quinta dos Remédios Science Garden assumes an identity geared towards knowledge. This particularity is due to a partnership with the Instituto Superior Técnico. In this space, one finds the historic Palace of the Counts of Mendia, a structure being adapted to house a science-dedicated center. The objective is to stimulate curiosity and interest in scientific fields, such as mathematics and physics, especially among younger generations.
