Design and Artistic Route

The garden, originally designed by architect Caldeira Cabral, has undergone interventions aimed at improving the visitor experience. The pedestrian path organizes circulation between the higher zone, to the east, and the lower part, to the west, facilitating the exploration of all its aspects. Along this route, visitors can discover an artistic itinerary that integrates sculptures and other works. A notable example is the bronze sculpture "Secreta Mensagem" (1989), by Lagoa Henriques, with its two statues emerging from the lake in the northern part of the garden, offering a point of contemplation.

A Space Open to the Community

The Caixa Garden, once for restricted use, has been handed over to the city of Lisbon, becoming a public space available to all. This opening is part of a broader commitment to the appreciation of green areas in the capital.
