The central structure consists of a plinth supporting a pyramidal obelisk, crowned by a decorative element in the shape of an artichoke, a common ornamental detail in fountains of the period. Metal plates can still be seen covering the original spouts today, with a modern tap and some iron bars for supporting vessels preserving the memory of its primary function.
