- Located on Rua de São Rafael, in Areia, in Cascais, Lisbon.
- It is a significant archaeological site, with well-preserved ruins of an ancient Roman villa.
- Initial excavations were carried out in 1945 by Afonso do Paço and Fausto de Figueiredo.
- Additional research campaigns took place between 1968 and 1971.
- Classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1984.
- The villa was surrounded by a wall, not yet completely excavated, and possibly had a turret.
- It includes a domus with a vestibule and a bath complex, with areas for cold, warm baths, and room heating.
- It has an aqueduct that supplied water to a large tank and to the thermal complex.
Evidence of Tyrian purple production for dyeing fabrics, with tanks and murex shells found.
Three burial areas with objects such as coins, earrings, and a decorated jug. The graves were of the "box" type, and the bodies faced east.
- Coins of Roman emperors (205 to 450 AD), a bronze needle, and a oil lamp.
- Structures associated with a wine press and various ceramic and metal artifacts.
