This 16th-century temple was a hostel and underwent several renovations, especially after the 1755 earthquake, being abandoned in the 19th century.
The chapel has a simple facade and a small bell tower. Inside, the Hispano-Arabic tiles and a gilded altarpiece stand out.
The Festivities Committee decorates the chapel and sells calendars, whose sales help maintain the tradition.
The calendars are available at Casa da Aldeia, Lé's shop, and Ti Ana's shop. Take the opportunity to take a photo in front of the chapel.
Located in Azueira de Baixo, the chapel is a space of devotion and history.
