Pessa was widely recognised for his curiosity and unique style, often concluding his reports with the famous phrase "E este, hein?" (And this one, huh?). Interestingly, it was in this very area of Areeiro that the journalist, himself a resident, used to enjoy his walks and bike rides, making the garden a particularly personal and fitting tribute to his connection with the place.
