Also known as Praia do Cerro, Peniche de Cima Beach stands out for its extensive sandy area, characterized by white, fine sand. To the northwest, the beach's limit is marked by a pier. On the land side, the sandy area is flanked by a dune system which, on its eastern slope, is undergoing recovery, with wooden fences protecting it, demonstrating care for the natural environment of the area.
