Mina Beach is located in the Paredes da Vitória area, in the village of Mina, within the municipality of Alcobaça. This coastal sandy stretch, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, is nestled at the mouth of a valley, providing a setting where nature reveals itself in its full extent.
The beach is framed by imposing cliffs that embrace it, with some dwellings standing out at their summit. This combination of natural grandeur with human presence creates a visually interesting landscape, where houses dot the horizon line above the rocky outline.
Mina Beach stands out for its considerable sandy stretch, which extends along the coast. As one walks along the beach in the southerly direction, the sandy area exhibits a peculiar characteristic: its profile gradually narrows, creating a sense of isolation and uniqueness in the landscape.
At certain times of the year, especially during periods of higher rainfall, it is possible to observe a small watercourse crossing the central part of the sandy area. This natural element adds dynamism to the beach environment, contributing to its genuine beauty and the constant evolution of its landscape.
Access to Mina Beach is via a pedestrian trail that descends from the upper area to the sandy stretch. This path, which in some sections is delimited by fences, offers a walk that invites careful observation of the natural surroundings as the ocean approaches.
Along the descent, it is possible to find some strategically placed wooden benches. These stopping points allow for a moment of rest and, above all, the opportunity to contemplate the stunning views over the vast sandy area and the Atlantic waters, making the journey an integral part of the beach visiting experience.
