With the aim of preserving the region's identity, the Municipal Museum of Porto de Mós gathers and presents the historical, cultural, and natural heritage of the municipality. A significant part of the collection invites a journey through time. Pieces are exhibited that bear witness to human presence and historical transformations in the area, with a highlight on archaeological finds from the Roman and medieval periods. There is also a section dedicated to inscriptions and epigraphic elements collected from different locations within the municipality.
