The Reitor Luís Nesi Museum is located in Sítio da Nazaré, an elevated part of the town distinguished by its geographical position and views. It is specifically located on the right side of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré, occupying the building formerly known as Casa do Despacho. The Sacred Collection

This museum space houses a significant collection of sacred art, mostly comprising pieces that resulted from offerings dedicated to the Virgin of Nazaré over the centuries. Inside, one can observe a variety of objects, such as liturgical ornaments, silver pieces, statuettes, and historical documents. One of the highlights is the section dedicated to the jewels, paintings, and medals that form part of Our Lady's treasure, as well as a notable display of the mantles that were used to dress the image of Our Lady of Nazaré.
