Located in the urban area of Leiria, near Leiria Castle.
Founded in the 17th century, the convent is an example of Mannerist and Baroque architecture. It underwent significant expansions in 1770 and alterations in the 19th century. From 1864, it was used as a Military Hospital until the mid-20th century and is currently unoccupied.
, Facade: Harmonious, with a deep galilee and symmetrical Doric arches. The main facade stands out for its elegance.
, Interior: Decorated with grotesque murals. The church has an 18th-century portal with a broken volute pediment.
, Cloister: The convent consists of several buildings around a cloister and a courtyard.
, Baroque Portals: Featuring counter-curved pediments and oculi, decorative details typical of the period.

The building is in a state of abandonment. In 1982, it was classified as a Property of Public Interest. Since 2001, it has been the subject of rehabilitation proposals, but without concrete progress.
