This garden stands out as the largest green space in Pedrógão Grande, with a landscape project inspired by the English garden style. Its design aims to imitate nature, presenting a less formal and pruned appearance, although every element is carefully planned. The space is notable for its impressive diversity of plants and flowers, hosting around 300 different species. Among the vegetation, one finds oaks, Japanese cherry trees, sequoias, rosemary, and paraíso olive trees, which contribute to the beauty and aroma of the place.
Devesa Garden offers a true oasis of freshness, especially on hotter days. The generous shade of its centenary trees, combined with the breeze filtering through the leaves, creates an inviting atmosphere for a moment of pause. Visitors will find serene lakes and picturesque nooks here, ideal for a peaceful stroll or simply to enjoy the scenery. This space, a true landscape highlight, is recognized as a source of pride for the inhabitants of Pedrógão Grande.
Designed for the well-being of its visitors, Devesa Garden features a dedicated children's area, equipped with colorful play equipment on synthetic flooring, providing a safe place to play. The garden is designed to be accessible to people with reduced mobility and allows entry for companion animals, making it an inclusive place. There is also a potable water point available to the public.
