Located in the parish of Alqueidão da Serra, in Porto de Mós, the Roman Road is an ancient monument of Portugal.
Built over 2,000 years ago, the road was used to transport iron between various locations, including Tomar.
With about 100 meters in length and 4 meters in width, it is an impressive example of Roman engineering in the region.
Recognized as a Property of Public Interest since 1990, the road preserves the route used by historical figures such as Nuno Álvares Pereira.
