Nossa Senhora dos Verdes Park is located in Rio Torto, in the municipality of Gouveia, integrated into an area of the same name. The site is situated within Monte Aljão, an area that provides the park with a predominantly natural and peaceful environment, inviting exploration and relaxation.

An Expansive Natural Retreat

This park covers a considerable area, with 22 hectares dedicated to defined infrastructures and spaces, complemented by an additional 120 hectares of natural terrain. The landscape is characterized by dense tree cover, predominantly wild and umbrella pines, alongside other arboreal and shrub species typical of the region. Visitors will find several kilometers of paths shaped by nature itself, ideal for walks.

Heritage and Devotion

Nossa Senhora dos Verdes Park has long been a place of significant cultural and religious importance for the region. Annually, in June, it hosts a pilgrimage dedicated to Our Lady, distinguished by traditional songs and the fellowship that brings many people together.

Inside, there is a chapel in honor of Nossa Senhora dos Verdes, a landmark that underscores the park's symbolic and historical dimension.
