The history of the current Mother Church dates back to 1877, the year its construction became a reality. This temple stands on the site of an earlier, smaller church, which was replaced. The exterior of the Mother Church stands out for its robustness, built with ashlar stone extracted from the region's rocks, giving it a solid presence integrated into the environment.
