Situated in the locality of Carvoeiro, in the municipality of Lagoa, Vale Centeanes is nestled on the Algarve coast. Its characteristic golden cliffs shape the surrounding landscape, offering natural shelter to the sandy area and wide perspectives over the Atlantic Ocean from their top.

The beach's position allows for a sense of seclusion, while its proximity to the sea provides an enveloping and refreshing atmosphere.

The sandy area of Vale Centeanes, though long, varies in width depending on the tide, being embraced by the imposing golden cliffs, typical of this coastal region. On the western side of the beach, when the tide recedes, a small grotto is revealed, inviting on-foot exploration.

Atop the cliffs of Vale Centeanes, one of the most acclaimed hiking trails in the Algarve begins: the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail. This trail, approximately 5.7 kilometers long, unfolds along the coast, revealing panoramic views of the ocean and the region's dramatic rock formations, serving as an invitation to walk and contemplate the Algarve's unique natural landscape.
