Salgueiro Beach is located on the coastline of the municipality of Lagoa, in the Algarve region. It is situated in a narrow cove, with its sandy area facing approximately Southeast. Due to its geographical configuration and natural surroundings, access to this beach is exclusively by sea.
The landscape of Salgueiro Beach is defined by the striking presence of cliffs that flank the small sandy area. A rocky outcrop divides the beach in half, extending into the surf zone. At the western end, the base of the cliff is covered by a significant amount of pebbles.
Approximately one hundred meters off the coast of Salgueiro Beach, a sizable islet stands out. This geographical feature has a flat top and constitutes a visual landmark in the area, contributing to the uniqueness of the cove's natural scenery.
The isolated nature of Salgueiro Beach, accessible only by sea, gives it a particular atmosphere of seclusion. It is a place that maintains its natural beauty, far from crowds, providing a more tranquil experience and close contact with the untouched coastal landscape of the Algarve.
