Situated east of the Alvor estuary, this section of the beach benefits from its proximity to the village's fishing and old quarter. Its setting includes the Torralta urbanization buildings to the west, opening eastward to the bay's landscape and a considerable dune system.
From this area, the view extends over the bay and reaches the rock formations that mark the eastern end of the beach.
In the easternmost section of the beach, the landscape changes with the appearance of limestone cliffs, typical of this part of the Algarve. These rock formations are marked by erosion, exhibiting complex contours and intricate patterns. Offshore, some islets are visible, along with the imposing rocky silhouette that forms Ponta João de Arens.
When the tide is low, it's possible to walk eastward and explore small coves hidden among the cliffs. These indentations reveal small caves and rock blocks that appear to be suspended in delicate balance. Some caution is advisable when approaching these rock formations. This area of the beach is often referred to as 'Praia dos Três Irmãos' (Beach of the Three Brothers), alluding to some of its most notable rock pinnacles.
The beach area next to the dune system hosts plant life adapted to this sandy and saline environment. It is possible to observe plants such as sea holly, sea clover, or sea daffodil, which, with their characteristics, contribute to the stabilization of the dunes and the natural beauty of this coastal strip.
