There is no pedestrian path or conventional land access that allows descent to the beach from the top of the cliff or the surrounding dry land areas.

Characteristics of the Sand and Water:

This beach features a sandy area with golden-colored sand. The central and eastern parts of the sandy area tend to be wider and free of rocks, offering space to settle. In the western section, various rock formations are interspersed with the sand.

The waters that bathe Praia da Malhada do Baraço are frequently highlighted for their remarkable clarity and transparency. They are generally described as crystal-clear and pristine, making them appealing for those who wish to take a swim or simply enjoy the underwater visibility.
