Located in the Vale da Telha area, in the municipality of Aljezur, this beach is integrated into the preserved landscape of the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. It is flanked by cliffs that define its extent and contribute to the characteristic natural scenery of this coastal area.
The beach boasts an extensive stretch of golden sand. Access to the bathing area is facilitated by wooden walkways that extend over the sand, allowing for more comfortable movement for visitors.
At the southern end of the beach, known as Fateixa, there is an area with prominent rock formations. During low tide, these rocks give rise to the formation of various natural pools. These small, temporary habitats are ideal for observing coastal marine fauna, such as small fish and invertebrates that become trapped in the pools.
The beach maintains a preserved natural environment, reflecting its integration into the Natural Park. The location is a meeting point for both families and those who practice sea-related activities. It is possible to observe traditional fishing practices and the presence of surfers, coexisting in a tranquil environment connected to the rhythm of coastal nature.
