The Picota Viewpoint is located in the Picota area, in the locality of Monte da Gingeira, within the municipality of Monchique. Situated in the heart of the Serra de Monchique, this viewpoint stands at an altitude of 774 meters, establishing itself as the second highest point in this Algarvean mountain range.
