- It made its first presentation in 1964 in Mexilhoeira da Carregação.

- Its President, Henrique Alberto, has led the group since the beginning.

The Ethnographic Museum

- Located at the headquarters of the Folklore Group, the museum preserves ethnographic objects donated by friends and members of the group.

- It displays a variety of utensils and artifacts that illustrate the customs and traditions of the people of Lagoa.
