History

- The church was rebuilt in the Late Middle Ages when the locality was elevated to parish status.

- The church has masonry walls, and the chapel is square-shaped with a five-keystone vault.

- The masonry altar features old paintings and religious images, including one of Our Lady.

- The altar is situated on a stone platform and can be reached by a six-step stairway.
