The Chalcolithic settlement consists of walls, towers, residential structures (huts), and functional areas, both inside and outside the walls.
Cerro do Castelo de Santa Justa was classified as a Property of Public Interest due to its archaeological relevance, according to decree 29/90, of July 17th.
Among the archaeological finds are pottery fragments, traces of lithic industry, idols adorned with horns, and tools related to copper smelting, such as crucibles.
According to the discovered remains, the settlement was inhabited during the Chalcolithic period.
