The Trail and its Dynamics

The trail invites a gradual exploration of Rocha da Pena. It begins on a dirt path that ascends steeply, guiding the hiker through the landscape. Right at the start, an information panel addresses aspects of the local geology, inviting a deeper understanding of the rock formations that shape this territory. As one progresses, the route reveals the diversity of the flora and the characteristics of the local terrain.

Panoramas and Viewpoints

Along the way, various points offer remarkable and ever-changing views. At the top of the formation, the North Viewpoint provides a vast panorama over the southern flank of the Serra do Caldeirão.
