The Álamo Roman Dam is situated near the village of Álamo, in the municipality of Alcoutim, in the Algarve region of Portugal.
It is an ancient Roman hydraulic structure dating back to ancient times.
The dam was classified as a Property of Public Interest in 1992.
The structure consists of a straight wall approximately 40 meters long, supported by buttresses. It is located in the Barranco da Fornalha, a tributary of the Guadiana River.
The dam served a villa located about 100 meters downstream. It also included a workshop, possibly used for dyeing.
