Praça do Sertório, parish of Évora.
Classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1922.
Inaugurated in 1610, it was home to Clarisse nuns and has origins dating back to the 14th century.
Example of 17th-century conventual Baroque art with a medieval watchtower.
The tower was part of the city's old wall and was adapted as a watchtower by the nuns.
After the expulsion of the Religious Orders, the convent had several functions until part of it was demolished in the 1940s.
The church, the watchtower and part of the cloister survived the demolition.
