Located in the parish of Estremoz (Santa Maria e Santo André), this wayside cross is in the Municipality of Estremoz, in the District of Évora, Portugal.
It has been considered a Property of Public Interest since 1958, standing out for its historical and cultural significance.
Made of local marble, this wayside cross is a composition of old pieces, possibly assembled in the 17th century. The set includes two octagonal steps and a shaft with three small intertwined columns, dating from the 16th century. The urn at the base has a distinctly Baroque style. The Latin cross, with arms ending in cloverleaves, is from the 18th century.
It is positioned in front of the main door of the church of the Convent of São Francisco, providing an integrated view with the historical religious environment.
