Location

Located in the village of São Brissos, in the parish of Santiago do Escoural, in the municipality of Montemor-o-Novo.

Origin

Built between the 4th and 3rd millennium BC, it is an important prehistoric vestige.

Transformation

In the 17th century, it was converted into a small chapel, now known as the Anta-Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Livramento.

Structure

The chapel retains three original pillars and part of the chamber's roof, with the original east-facing entrance now closed.

Classification

It has been a National Monument since 1910, standing out for its historical and cultural relevance.
