It stands in the Valeira area, Nossa Senhora da Graça do Divor parish (Évora), next to the N370. The dolmen occupies a gentle slope between the Almançor and Divor river basins, surrounded by olive trees and low scrub that give it a rural and serene setting.
Built between the late 4th and mid-3rd millennia BC, it is part of the Évora megalithism and is classified as a National Monument. Ceramic and lithic finds reveal funerary practices of the region's Neolithic communities.
The structure displays a polygonal chamber composed of seven orthostats still in situ, a corridor with three preserved slabs, and a fractured capstone fallen inside. Its state of preservation allows for an understanding of the technique applied in moving large stone blocks.
The Alentejo plain scenery, punctuated by rocky outcrops and the intense southern light, highlights the dolmen's granite textures and offers expansive views that reinforce the ancestral character of the site.
