History and Construction

- Built between 1799 and 1805, blessed in 1810.

- Financed by local inhabitants, with support from patron António Estevens Boeiro and his wife Josefa Maria (buried in the chancel).

Architecture and Decoration

- Exterior with Pombaline style elements.

- Interior lined with marble, creating an elegant but simple atmosphere.

Images and Devotion

- The side altars feature images of Saint Joseph, Child Jesus, Our Lady of Sorrows, Saint Sebastian and Saint Rita of Cascia.
