This community park was named in homage to a celebrated olive tree that once marked this very spot. For the inhabitants of Santo António do Baldio, this tree was not just a part of the landscape, but a traditional meeting point where people gathered, and in particular, the youth danced on Sunday afternoons.

The original olive tree became a symbol of conviviality and shared moments, representing a place of memories and stories rooted in the village's collective memory. Although the original tree no longer exists, a new olive tree has been planted on the site, keeping alive the connection to this important community legacy.
