Construction

18th century, Baroque style.

Structure

Octagonal body (chapel) and rectangular body (chancel and sacristy).

Interior

- Octagonal nave with side altars and symmetrical pulpits.

- Ceiling of the chancel painted in trompe-l'oeil, illustrating the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

Main Altarpiece

Gilded and polychrome chestnut wood, with symbols of Christ's martyrdom and IHS inscription.

Side Altars

- Right: Our Lady of Piety and painting of Jesus taken from the cross.

- Left: St. Joseph and painting of the Last Supper.

Decoration

Fresco and brocade techniques, Baroque elements of symmetry and theatricality.
