The Alvoco das Várzeas River Beach is located in the locality of the same name, in Alvoco das Várzeas, in the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital. It is situated in a valley, along the banks of the Alvoco Stream, providing a natural and serene environment. Its position offers views of the Serra da Estrela.

In its vicinity, one can observe the Açude da Moenda, a weir built in the 18th century, fed by a natural waterfall.
