Chico Ceras Park is located along the banks of the Ceira River, in the heart of Góis village, occupying a stretch of about 2.85 hectares between the Peneda weir and the Ponte Nova (New Bridge) on EN 342.

Integrated into a peaceful urban setting, it is close to the historic center while still offering a sense of refuge by the water.

Riverside Landscape

The waters of the Ceira flow slowly over the weir, creating small drops that form calm reflective pools and tranquil backwaters.

The banks, dotted with willows and poplars, create a green corridor that changes color with the seasons, providing an ever-changing backdrop.

Origin and Tradition

This area includes a sports fishing concession classified as cyprinid water, recalling the old riverside activity that brought generations together by the river.
