Located in the village of Anseriz, in the municipality of Arganil, this building is situated in an area characterized by tranquility and the region's natural surroundings. This building, before becoming what it is today, served as Anseriz's primary school. For many years, it was a central place in community life, where generations of children received their first lessons. It thus represents an important landmark in the collective memory of the village, symbolizing the role of education and knowledge in building its future and in local development.
After being affected by the fires that ravaged the region in 2017, the former primary school building in Anseriz underwent a recovery project. This intervention aimed not only to restore functionality to the space but, above all, to ensure the preservation of its identity and the characteristics that define it. The rehabilitation was designed to maintain the building's architectural essence and historical value, allowing it to continue to be an integral and significant part of Anseriz's landscape.
