The course is located in the Industrial Park of Cantanhede, within the municipal Sports Complex, just a few minutes from the urban center. The green area contrasts with the low-rise pavilions surrounding it, becoming an oasis of grass amidst industrial buildings and agricultural lands of Gândara.

The flat topography opens the horizon over the lawn, punctuated by rows of trees that protect the boundaries of the grounds and offer shade on hot days. Those who walk the course feel the gradual transition from the urban environment to a calmer, more natural space.

Origin and Evolution

The association was formally established on June 29, 2009, when the Municipality entrusted it with the management of the first public golf infrastructure built in Portugal. Since then, the club has promoted the pitch & putt variant and opened the sport to all age groups.

In 2017, the greens were converted to natural grass, raising the quality of play and bringing it closer to international standards. Despite its youth, the club already boasts regional and national titles won by several members.

Courses and Practice

Three nine-hole courses coexist on the grounds, certified by the International Pitch and Putt Association: 1200 m, 1637 m, and 1934 m, with holes ranging from 50 m to 150 m. This variety allows for quick sessions for beginners or technical challenges for experienced players.

The training complex includes a driving range with 12 boxes, a pitching green, and a putting green of approximately 600 m², in addition to a 250 m fairway for longer shots. The club's school operates year-round, hosting programs for children, youth, and adults.

Environment and Visitor Support

The well-maintained lawns, tree-lined fairways, and absence of steep inclines facilitate walking and create a relaxing setting, even for those who are just accompanying. The sound of shots mixes with the chirping of birds, providing a pleasant contrast to the surrounding industrial rhythm.

The compact clubhouse offers changing rooms and a bar with a balcony overlooking the practice area, ideal for observing the activity on the driving range or simply enjoying the sunset over the lawn.

Thanks to its proximity to the center of Cantanhede, it is easy to fit in a nine-hole round as a complement to other activities in the city, returning with the feeling of having spent a few hours in a green and tranquil refuge.
