A Renovated Historical Legacy

This site corresponds to the old Quinta do Moinho Velho (Old Mill Farm), a property with significant heritage and historical-cultural value. The requalification of the space was designed to respect and enhance the farm's original identity. Existing structures, such as the main house, the farm house, and its agricultural annexes, were sensitively rehabilitated, maintaining their architectural features and traditional atmosphere.

Nature and Views

Quinta do Moinho Velho extends over a considerable area, covering approximately 21,760 square meters of green space. The terrain features varied topography, with flatter areas where the buildings are situated, steeper areas with shrubs, and secluded spots marked by rock outcrops. The landscaped areas have been recovered, and one of the buildings was transformed into a viewpoint, providing extensive perspectives over the urban surroundings and the natural landscape.

A Space for the Community

The intervention at Quinta do Moinho Velho represents an example of urban regeneration, transforming historical heritage into a resource for collective use. Although its primary function is community support, the recovery of this space has created a meeting and socialising point, open and accessible to all.
