Located in the village of Algoso, municipality of Vimioso, district of Bragança.
16th to 18th centuries.
Simple style church, with a single nave and rectangular chancel. It has a quadrangular bell tower and an attached sacristy. Inside, the wooden ceiling and the granite floor in the center stand out.
Temple dedicated to Saint Sebastian.
In 2013, it underwent rehabilitation works that reinforced the structure and recovered the interior and exterior. The gilded carved altars and sacred art were also restored.
Well preserved, being an important point of historical and religious interest in the region.
The original church would have been located next to the castle of Algoso, one of the most emblematic monuments in the area.
