It functions as a Museum of Society, Identity, and Territory, proposing a journey through the experiences and particularities of this Trás-os-Montes area.
The space invites a sensory and interactive exploration through its different rooms. The Shepherd's Tunnel allows an immersion into the characteristic sounds of pastoralism, an ancestral activity in the region. The Room of Praise to Time and Nature offers an environment that evokes the natural world, complemented by audiovisual content. In the Identity Room, visitors can interact with exhibitions that use augmented reality, discovering the meaning of local expressions and regionalisms. Finally, the Sambade Room displays objects that illustrate the daily life of the rural world, revealing the life of other times. The museological program is designed to be diverse and innovative, enriching the visitor's experience.
