CICA is located in the Castle Zone, in Carrazeda de Ansiães, a town in the municipality of the same name. Conceived from the foundations of a traditional house, the CICA building has been transformed into a modern and welcoming center. Inside, spread over two floors, visitors will find a display of archaeological artifacts. This exhibition is carefully organized to present the historical process of the municipality. One of the highlights is the collection of discoidal stelae, considered one of the most complete in the region, offering a unique perspective on the past.
CICA offers an opportunity to deepen knowledge about Portuguese medieval history, viewed through the strategic importance of Ansiães Castle and its ancient village.
