Installed in the surroundings of the village of Abreiro (municipality of Mirandela), the swing occupies a high point next to a small dirt plateau. Surrounded by agricultural terraces and olive groves, it offers a unique perspective on the typical houses and the gentle hills that characterize this part of the Northeast Transmontano. A few meters away, no modern constructions are visible, which reinforces the feeling of being in a natural viewpoint, where the silence is only interrupted by the singing of birds and the breeze that sweeps through the valleys.

Aesthetics and Ambiance

The rustic wooden structure maintains the simple lines of a traditional swing, but the seat molded in the shape of a fig creates a contemporary visual impact. The pine boards and chestnut beams stand out against the sky, lending an artisanal charm to the ensemble. The use of natural materials and the organic design of the seat invite touch and rest, transforming the swing into a meeting point between the utilitarian and the artistic.

From above, the view glides over vineyards, olive groves, and terraced fields, with the houses of Abreiro shining in the distance.
