The Tower of São Sebastião is located in the heart of Braga, in the parish of Sé. It is situated in an area of great historical importance, once close to the Cividade hill, where the center of the ancient Roman city of Bracara Augusta was located. Its position allowed access to one of the city's medieval gates, following an ancient Roman road, making it a point of interest that reveals the urban evolution of Braga over the centuries. The surroundings are characterized by streets that invite a tranquil stroll through the city's atmosphere.

Walled Past

This architectural exemplar is one of the vestiges of the robust medieval wall that once encircled Braga.
