The Brufe Leisure Park is located in the Cortinhas urbanization, integrated into the picturesque locality of Brufe, in the municipality of Terras de Bouro. This space is situated on the outskirts of the village, in a natural setting that reflects the beauty of the Serra do Gerês.

A Haven of Natural Rest

This park stands out as an idyllic place, ideal for those seeking tranquility in harmony with nature. With generous shaded areas, it offers an environment conducive to rest and contemplation, providing a serene refuge in the highlands of the municipality.

Structures Designed for Socializing

Designed for the enjoyment of visitors, the park includes various amenities that invite leisure. Notably, there is a picnic area, built with local stone, whose cobblestone pavement harmonizes with the environment. In addition, it features a barbecue area, inviting outdoor meal preparation, and a small dam on the Ribeira de Brufe, which adds a scenic element and the possibility to cool off in its waters.

A Requalifying Intervention

The existence of this park is the result of a public space requalification project in the village of Brufe. This initiative was carried out by ATAHCA (Association for the Development of the Highlands of Homem, Cávado, and Ave), with financial support from the Leader program. The objective was to create a leisure point that would enhance the natural surroundings and offer amenities to its users.
