Pacha Ofir is situated in the beach resort area of Ofir, belonging to the locality of Fão, in the municipality of Esposende. This remarkable space is immersed in a singular landscape, flanked by extensive pine forests and the proximity of the Atlantic coast. Pacha Ofir stands out in the coastal landscape for its ambition and uniqueness. Conceived by entrepreneur José Manuel Vieira, the venue was built in the heart of a pine forest, close to the beach, giving it a unique character. Its notable size is complemented by a careful aesthetic, designed to integrate into the surrounding natural environment, creating an interesting contrast between the scale of its structure and the serenity of the surrounding nature.
Inaugurated on August 13, 1992, Pacha Ofir quickly achieved world-class status in its genre. Its quality and relevance were highlighted in 1999 when the prestigious British magazine Musik elected it as one of the 21 best nightclubs in the world. Over the years, this venue has consolidated its reputation as a mythical space, hosting renowned international guests and DJs who have contributed to its lasting fame in the global electronic music scene.
With a vast total area and over five thousand square meters of covered space, Pacha Ofir was designed to accommodate a large number of visitors. It is characterized by its amplitude, featuring six distinct dance floors, offering varied atmospheres within the same space. Additionally, it integrates several outdoor areas and an extensive network of bars, contributing to a comprehensive and diverse experience for its visitors.
