This Roman milestone dates from the 4th century and was part of the old road that connected Braga to Astorga. It marks the 26th mile of that road.
It is a stone column with an inscription of Emperor Licinius, visible to those passing by the road.
Easy access, it is clearly visible next to the road, in a quiet and wooded area.
Classified as a Property of Public Interest, it is an important historical vestige of the Roman era in the region.
