Located in Mire de Tibães, in the municipality of Braga, next to the Tibães Monastery.
It rests on a platform of nine wide and low steps, with small pillars at the corners, each topped by a sphere.
On the last step, there is a stone block supported by lion figures. Its four faces are decorated with sculpted frames, including the emblem of the Benedictine Order, to which the Tibães Monastery belonged.
Monolithic and cylindrical, it has sculpted details along the shaft. The lower part features star motifs, while the upper part has vertical grooves.
Inspired by the Corinthian order of the Renaissance, with sculpted details characteristic of that era.
It ends in a large sphere that serves as a base for a simple Latin cross, with diamond-pointed ends.
Very similar to the Cruzeiro do Campo das Hortas, in Braga, differing only in the details of the base.
