Located in the former parish of Guisande, in the municipality of Braga, Portugal.
Ancient fortified settlement (castro) from the Iron Age.
It presents three lines of walls that protected the settlement.
Remains of houses with circular and rectangular plan, typical of ancient proto-historic communities.
Partially explored between 1899 and 1900 by Albano Belino, where walls, habitations and various artifacts were found.
Objects such as fibulae (metal ornaments), amber beads, a small stone axe, Roman coins, tile fragments and a votive ara (offering stone).
The votive ara found is in the Martins Sarmento Society Museum, in Guimarães.
Recognized as a National Monument since June 23, 1910.
