Looking South and West, attention is drawn to the serenity of the Mira river and its green banks, punctuated by hills that shape the lower part of the town. Turning North and East, the gaze encompasses Odemira's houses nestled on sun-facing slopes, the windmills silhouetted on mountaintops, and the discreet presence of churches among the rooftops.
