Praia do Lago (Lake Beach) is located next to the town of Moura, benefiting from the vast expanse of water of the great Alqueva Lake. It is integrated into the urban area known as Praia do Lago, in the Alentejo municipality of Moura, Beja district. Its position offers direct contact with the lake landscape that characterises this region.

The site was designed to provide easy access to the water, allowing visitors to enjoy the reservoir in a setting close to the residential area.

An Aquatic Leisure Space:

This space was developed to offer moments of relaxation and fun, both for residents and visitors. Praia do Lago combines sandy areas with grassy zones, creating a diverse environment for different leisure preferences. The site includes two floating pools, allowing for a safe and inviting swim in the waters of Alqueva.

Visitors also find structures like straw huts that provide natural shade and picnic tables, ideal for a quiet day with family or friends, enjoying the tranquillity of the Alentejo landscape.

Concept and Surroundings:

Praia do Lago is part of a broader project, the Moura-Alqueva Nautical Station, which aims to enhance interaction with the lake. Its development reflects an investment in creating infrastructure designed for the well-being of users, in a serene and natural environment.
